Technical Difficulties

We are still very much alive... still sorting out tech difficulties.  We could be up and running, albeit with poor sound quality - and neither of us want that.  We want the podcast to be of the highest quality possible.

The website design is done, however the developer's mother was recently diagnosed with cancer. So, we're keeping the family in our prayers and it will be live once she has decided she can return to work.

We're Still Here...

Hello all... I haven't been neglecting this - nor have we been dormant, we've just been mobilizing.  Rob and I have spent the last month or two trying to lock up all the production elements for the show.  And recently he had a computer crash, a power supply literally melt and his sound board die.  But we should be up and running this weekend - and hopefully lock everything down.  Then, we just want to do one dry run (if it goes well we might post it) before we go live.

We'll have a new home base - http://www.35movieminutes.com/ - and this will serve as the ongoing blog for the site.  We'll be doing more opinion related entries here, reviews, etc...

We're also now on twitter @35movieminutes and Facebook www.facebook.com/35movieminutes

Our title design was just completed and looks great.  Come next week the designer will start work on the website, which should be live by the first show.

Thanks for being patient.

Gearing Up

We've been silent, but we're gearing up to launch the podcast - and the site.

Since I haven't even prefaced this with who is involved let me start by saying that Rob Scarpelli and myself, Ryan Colucci, will be the hosts.  Conceived by myself, but brought to life by both of us in the last month - we're really pumped about the show and where it can go.

We both feel like there is a void in Hollywood news, at least without all the excess commentary.  We want to give the news for the week quickly, infused with our opinions of course.  But the idea is that the show is a quick hitter.  In and out.  It isn't two hours of us droning on about how great Vanessa Hudgen's nude photos are.

Rob is a sound whiz behind the mics and has done a few podcasts before in front of the mic.  I was lucky enough to catch him at the right time.  We've been assembling all the production elements for the show recently - making sure it is as tight and clean as possible.

I'm pegging the last weekend of August as our go date.  So stay tuned...
